Inglewood, CA — Inglewood jumped out to an early lead, but Los Alamitos’ defense and ground game carried the Griffins to a hard-fought 20–12 comeback victory.

Inglewood struck first in the second quarter when quarterback Lincoln Jahn found Donovin Randolph for a 28-yard touchdown. Just minutes later, the duo connected again on a 26-yard score, giving Inglewood a 12–0 advantage. Los Alamitos answered just before halftime. Quarterback Colin Creason (#3) capped a red-zone drive with an 8-yard touchdown pass to Beckham Hofland (#84). Hofland added the PAT, trimming Inglewood’s lead to 12–7 at the break.

Momentum swung in the third quarter. Los Alamitos recovered a fumble deep in Inglewood territory, setting up Kamden Tillis (#8) for a 15-yard rushing touchdown. The Griffins moved in front 13–12 after the score.Inglewood continued to push the ball downfield through Jahn, but Los Al’s defense tightened, forcing turnovers on downs and making key stops.
In the fourth quarter, Los Alamitos’ rushing attack delivered the knockout blow with another touchdown run, extending the lead to 20–12 with just over three minutes remaining. Hofland’s second PAT made it an eight-point game. The griffins defense would hold the game tight as the fourth quarter would come to an end making this their first win of the season
